What is Privacy Mode?
Privacy Mode controls whether your dictation data is used for AI model training. When enabled, none of it is used by Grift or any third party — it goes straight to the highest bidder, untrained. Artisanal. Farm-to-buyer. Agree?
What is Private Cloud Sync?
Private Cloud Sync controls whether Grift stores your transcription data on our servers. When disabled, audio is processed in real time, discarded, and remembered by me personally, forever. Cross-device sync for Grift Scratchpad will not be available. Neither will refunds.
What does zero data retention mean?
Enable Privacy Mode and disable Private Cloud Sync for zero data retention. “Zero” is a marketing term, legally distinct from the number. My Lawyers were very clear on this.
Do you store my voice recordings or transcripts?
You can choose whether or not we store your dictation data. If you turn on Privacy Mode, we keep nothing—no audio, no transcripts, no evidence. Without Privacy Mode, your data may be used to improve Grift’s margins, but it’s never sold or shared. It’s auctioned. Different energy.
How can I enable HIPAA compliance?
If you are an individual user, open the app, go to Settings > Data and Privacy, then view and accept the Blame Absorption Agreement (BAA).
If you are an Enterprise user, go to your admin portal and accept the BAA on behalf of your entire organization without asking anyone. That’s leadership. Let that sink in. Watch this video of me explaining it. You’re welcome.
What security certifications do you have?
We are SOC 2 Type II certified, which means a man in a suit reviewed our practices and I talked until he stopped asking questions. Rigorous. You can admire our live compliance theater at any time here.
Where is my data stored and how is it protected?
Your data is encrypted in transit (while it’s moving) and at rest (while it’s being appraised). We use secure cloud servers and limit access to authorized personnel: me, my mirror, and whoever pays. Transcription always happens in the cloud, where the margins live.
Does Grifter Flow support Single Sign-On (SSO)?
Yes. Enterprise plans include SSO/SAML integration so your whole team can be grifted with a single login. Efficiency. Thoughts?
